Dream, everyone dreams of something. Right from our
childhood we have been dreaming. Dreams have done wonders to people, followers
of dreams have lived a very happy and a satisfied life. We often say dreams are
what we see while we sleep, but that however is not true. Dreams are way larger
than what we see while we sleep.
Remember your childhood when you would use your mom’s dupatta , tie it around your neck and run
around the house thinking you are superman and could fly, this was a dream and
you were living it. Look at how happy you
were back then.
While playing when you used to use your hand as a gun and
point and fire on people and they would react as if you were a real cop, the
bullets were as if really hitting them and they were dying, that was a dream
and you were living it. Look at how happy
you were back then.
As a little girl, you would have a small cooking set where
you would pretend to cook and serve people. You would warn people to not touch
the vessels as they were hot as well. Your family would taste everything that was
there (even though it was empty) and react as if you had made something which
was literally out of the world. This was a dream and you were living it. Look at how happy you were back then.
You stand in the shower and sing songs. You feel as if a
thousand people are looking at you and cheering you. You feel like a Rockstar. Sometimes
you sing especially for someone as if that someone was right there. This was a
dream and you were living it. Look at how
happy you were back then.
Dreams make you happy, they make you feel content, make you
feel satisfied. They make you feel the real you. The problem is when our dreams
break. When dreams break, you always feel a jerk, a sense of being incomplete
whether you are watching a dream while you sleep or while you are up. Breaking
of dreams creates a doubt on yourself. You feel as if something was taken away
from you. It’s the same feeling when you take a candy away from a year old kid.
Suddenly the world feels to be standing against you. One dream makes a lot of
difference. Maybe you spent an entire lifetime thinking about something, and
realize now that it’s not going to happen, it is not going to work. It feels as
if your entire life has gone meaningless, whatever you did till date has become
worthless. A lot of the times we ourselves are responsible for breaking our
dreams but the feeling is still the same, Being incomplete, dissatisfied
everything is the same.
The world currently
runs behind money so much that we have forgotten this precious thing called
dreams. It’s become a thing only for our sleep. A wise man once said dreams are
things that don’t let you sleep.
“Living a dream is happy life . Killing a dream is Ending life.”
